i do it for the fun of it

okay now im about to tell you my new passion as promised in the previous post. haha as if ppl are following all of my posts plak.anyhow, it started during the last winter break which i was so unhappy about. i didn't plan on going anywhere during that break so when i was about to finish the final paper, i felt kinda sad and unhappy

Everyone else was so excited and looking forward for the coming winter break since they planned on travelling here and there. So what i did was spending most of my time in my room watching korean drama alone at night and during the day, i went out eating or shopping with few of my friends left in Auckland. My schoolmate was coming from Wellington (it's Ayu Atiah) and going to stay at my place for a few days so i was wondering what else should i make other than stuffing her mouth with nasi and lauk. so i came out with the idea of baking banana cake for her. Okay why banana cake all of a sudden kn? izah told me that it's the easiest cake she ever baked and for a girl like me who never once baked, banana cake is good for a start. haha ok fine. since she's so expert in baking the banana cake (let me tell u, she baked more than 5banana cakes in a month and each time was a success!) so i learnt it from her. It was easy.seriously. i mean the way it was baked.hehe but guess what. the one i baked that day was a failure.didn't know what went wrong. it was so lembik inside.haha. sorry ayu i didn't serve u with a fine banana cake.fuuh malu2 bwt kek takjadi. but it didn't stop me from baking. during that break too, i learnt how to bake chocolate cake from nik. well there was nothing else i can do that time. and we planned to bake it for kaksu who has just finished her study and was going back home for good. okay back to chocolate cake,most of my friends here knows how to bake one except me so it was a shame that i didn't know!  and i thought it was just the right time to learn. choc cake dah.okay there's more. i know how to bake cheesecake too.learnt it from zila during that winter break.ok 3cakes on a 3week break.how's that sound?hahaha. okay what!

i think i've started to love baking. it is a bit tiring but in a way, it is also a therapy. it releases my tension and also a pleasure to see your friends eating everything u bake and request some more. fun2.
