LAB.LAB.LAB

Yay, the lab sessions for this semester are now over. Today was the last one, i guess it was the easiest lab for chem230. Yeah believe me, there are like 5 or 6 simple steps only on the manual, and the fun thing is, we do not have to make a report on this session, cause you know, doing a lab report is not exciting at all. ehee.

Some pictures of the experiment, my lab buddies and me for this semester. =D

some of you might already know these things, the round bottom flask with magnetic stir bar inside were half buried in the hot sand bath for the solution to be heated and well mixed. There was a distillation vessel on top. This process is called heating under reflux.

ok this is the full view, the lower tube was connected to the water pipe and the upper tube was connected to allow water flowing out.

i forgot the name of this experiment but my friends and i called it aquarium experiment.eheee
it looked complicated but the way it was conducted was way easier and boring too.

meet Sara, my chem210 lab partner.

this is Raja and her crystals

our crystals (before being filtered and suck dried). They were formed after Diels-Alder reaction.

me.me.me.. with my XXL goggles.
